４．Ｅxciting tour 〜 Mexico 〜
I went to Mexico with Japanese friends.
An American travel agency took me to the place.
At first we flew to L..A. airport.
The staff picked us up.
He drove to his office in San Diego.
After that a long trip started.
From San Diego to Baja San Calros, it usually takes 13 hours by car.
The staff was very well.
He used to go there,so we passed the border line easily.
We ate delicious Mexican food.
We talked a lot.
We had a good time untill it happened.
It rained hardly gradually.
In Mexico it rarely rain.
Local people said the same thing happened about 6 years ago.
When our car reached a winding road,the road were running with rain.
It looked like a river.
Our car got stuck in the trench.
The staff did his best.
But it was serious.
He decided to ask somebody to help us.
It was a midnight and it rained hard.
We stayed in the car inclined to one side.
Thought the night nine of us were there.
In the next morning , the staff returned.
It still rained.
He said,we had nothing to do now.
But afternoon the wether would get well.
We should walk to the basecamp.
It would take about an hours.
Please wear these garbage bags to stay out of the wet.
We pulled over those.
So we shaked hands to be safe.
We walked in a line.
On the way to the basecamp ,we had to pass the river.
It looked like an adventure movie.
At last we arrived at the basecamp.
There were hot drinks , a hot shower and nice staffs.
AND there were nice waves!!!
In the evening ,local fishermen resuced our car.
Everithing changed to nice memory under the starlight.
Among the trip,we were satisfied about all.
The nature was so beutiful.
The local people ,the staffs and other tourists were nice.
The food were very tasty.
We enjyoied surfing, biking and windsurfing .
The life in Baja is very simple.
And the life there is beautifle!!
You should go there once in your life.
