１．ＳＨＩＧＡ

　　　Shiga prefecture has Lake biwa that is the biggest lake in Japan.

The lake is so large.

There are several beaches.

They are very famous among Japanese windsurfers.

We can enjoy slalom , freestyle and wave riding.

Shinkaihama is one of the most famous beach.

There are usually small waves.

When the wind blow strong , the wave becomes big , almost chest height.

When a typhoon crosses Shiga , Imazu beach becomes a promised place.

The wave becomes big size , almost head height.


If you are curious about unique food in Japan , you should try a local dishes in Shiga.

It is a kind of ferment food .

It is a classic "sushi".

It is called "hunazushi" , it means sushi of crucian.

The smell and the taste is very unique.

Somebody loves it , but the other don't want to eat it.

If you have a bravery or you can eat a "natto" , a "shiokara" or a "kusaya", you should try "hunazushi".

Shiga is surrounded by the mountains.

There are some ski resorts.

And Shiga is next to Kyoto.

Hieizan is the mountain stands betoween shiga and kyoto .

There is a famous temple , "Enryakuji".

A famous suvenir of Shiga is a pottry ,"shigayakiyaki".

The symbol of shigarakiyaki is a raccoon dog.

You can see them in a lot of place.

The figure is very cute.
